A Greener Future

CQP is committed to preserving the environment and minimising potential impacts throughout the Project's lifespan. By replacing electricity generated from other sources such as fossil fuel power stations, renewable energy can lead to an overall reduction in Queensland’s carbon emissions.

Powering around 120,000 homes annually

Contributing to the Queensland Renewable Energy Target of 50% renewable electricity by 2030.

Minimal impact on agricultural productivity

We work with host landowners to design and plan the Project allowing for the continuation of farming activities.

Utilising existing access tracks and roads

The Project design will prioritise the use of previously cleared areas and rely on expert ecological advice.

Avoiding 480,000 tonnes of CO2 annually

That’s the equivalent of planting 11 million trees every year.
